About
Engineering, software and technology education
I am a Sound and Image Engineer, Full-Stack Developer and Technology Educator specialized in programming and emerging technologies.
My professional career has developed around three areas that I now see as complementary: audiovisual engineering, software development and technology education. Over the years, I have worked on television, sound, web applications, ecommerce, digital platforms, video games and technical training projects.
Today, much of my work focuses on software development and on exploring the convergence between programming, artificial intelligence and audiovisual technologies.
A career between technology, software and education
I began my professional career in the audiovisual field, working in television, transmission systems and sound. That stage gave me a strong technical foundation closely connected to engineering, problem solving and the deployment of complex systems.
I later shifted my work towards web application development and digital projects, until software development became one of my main professional areas.
In parallel, education has been present throughout much of my career. I have taught programming, web development, applications, video games, sound, post-production, acoustics and audiovisual technologies in Vocational Education and Training programs, specialized centers, companies and public administrations.
This combination allows me to approach projects from a technical, practical and educational perspective.
Software development
I have worked as a developer of applications and digital solutions for more than fifteen years.
My work has included the design, development and maintenance of websites, applications, APIs, online stores, content management systems and custom platforms, working across both frontend and backend. Over the course of my career, I have developed more than thirty websites and web projects.
In recent years, my stack has expanded towards technologies such as React, TypeScript, Laravel, C#/.NET, Python and FastAPI, as well as databases, Redis, Docker and deployments on Linux. I have also integrated artificial intelligence tools and APIs into real projects, both to support development work and to add new functionality to applications.
I am especially interested in applying technology when it solves a real problem, avoiding complexity introduced only for the sake of adopting a new tool.
Teaching and training
Technology education is another central part of my professional activity.
I have taught in Vocational Education and Training in areas such as web development, application development, programming, multimedia and video games, and I have also worked as a trainer for companies, public administrations and other professionals.
I have also delivered specific training in sound, post-production, music recording and audiovisual technologies, both for students and for Vocational Education and Training teachers and industry professionals.
My way of teaching starts from a simple idea: understanding technology by building with it. I try to combine fundamentals, professional tools and practical projects that make it possible to apply what has been learned to real situations.
A significant part of the materials I have developed over the years is published on this website.
Sound and image engineering
My education and early professional years are directly connected to sound, image and audiovisual systems.
I worked in television and audiovisual communication systems, including maintenance and commissioning of TV facilities and responsibilities in the operation and coordination of technical teams.
For years, I also worked professionally as a sound engineer specialized in classical music, carrying out more than 300 recordings and more than 100 live sound reinforcement projects across Spain, as well as in Ireland and the Czech Republic, and taking part in the editing of more than twenty albums and soundtracks.
This experience is complemented by my Avid Pro Tools Music Operator certification, obtained after three weeks of specialized training in London.
This stage still plays an important role in the way I understand technology, and it is one of the reasons why I am now especially interested in software development related to audio, image, multimedia and interaction.
What I am working on now
My current work combines development, education and technology experimentation.
- modern web application development
- frontend with React and Next.js
- backend with Laravel, .NET and FastAPI
- APIs and service-oriented architectures
- PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Redis and Docker
- artificial intelligence applied to development
- integration of language models and tools
- video games and interactive experiences
- software related to sound, image and multimedia.
In recent projects I have worked on ecommerce platforms, AI-based assistants, institutional development, solutions with React and Laravel, tools based on OpenAI and interactive experiences developed with Unity.

Academic background
I am a Sound and Image Engineer from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and I previously studied Technical Telecommunication Engineering, specializing in Sound and Image.
I also hold a Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Secondary Education, Baccalaureate, Vocational Education and Training, and Language Teaching from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria.
A combination of profiles
I do not see development, engineering and teaching as separate areas.
Engineering gives me a way to analyze problems.
Software development allows me to build solutions.
Teaching forces me to understand them well enough to explain them.
Today, I try to take that combination one step further, exploring how artificial intelligence and audiovisual technologies can be integrated into new tools, experiences and ways of learning.
